Rainbow Riches The Leprechaun holds the Gold

Tuesday, July 13th, 2010

One of the mechanisms used in the Rainbow Riches online slot series is a Leprechaun who dances his way round Pots of Gold, revealing riches and prizes galore for the player. There has always been a link between Leprechauns and gold and perhaps that’s what led geologists to name a particularly rich gold deposit after this mystical creature, just south of Buchans in Canada.

It seems this Leprechaun is particularly rich and surveyors now believe that the Marathon PGM company are now very close to striking it rich in deep seam of gold. Alongside the considerable surface gold that has been obtained by drilling, it also appears there are some deep deposits of gold that could be reached by multiple drills. We can only speculate as to how much gold is in this deposit and what it will be worth on the world stage, but one thing is for sure and that’s Canada has consistently proved one of the best resources in the world for mineral and oil deposits.

Marathon PGM is working hand in hand with Mountain Lake Resources in order to mine the rich source of wealth within the Leprechaun deposit. The whole project is contained within a bigger venture in Canadian mining known as the Valentine Lake gold project.

If you like to increase the amount of gold in your pocket, then you could try the fantastic Rainbow Riches slots. You can take the reels for a spin for free play and learn all the elements of the Cheats, hints and tips of the Irish Dancer.

Rainbow Riches will we ever be able to play online worldwide?

Wednesday, May 26th, 2010

Why are the Online gaming laws so different worldwide?

With China recently announcing it is tightening its laws, surrounding the web access for adult content sites and gambling alike. We ask why is there such a vast difference, between some of the most powerful worldwide countries when it comes to online gambling. It surely should be a democratic union when it comes to decision making on whether an individual should be able to gamble online, albeit with a few restrictions in place, e.g age, deposit restrictions, proof of identity etc.

It seems clear that that after all these years of online gambling  existence,  we are still non the wiser as to who can actually place a bet or play online slots like Rainbow Riches in a safe non restricted environment, With China having their recent spat with Google, and the USA making things very difficult for gambling transactions to happen it’s an emotional rollercoster for players and operators alike.

France seems still unsure as do Australia and may other powerful nations. In conclusion there seems to be a need for worldwide governance overseeing the whole Internet gambling industry.

It is surely not a crime to gamble with your own money, with the technology we have in place, this must be able to kerb the online fraudsters who are washing up their dirty money through online gambling sources.

The UK seems to be one of the only safe havens where online gamblers are not restricted, provided they adhere to the basic criteria. Will we ever see the day in the near future, where the gaming world unites under one roof and allows gamblers the freedom of choice to gamble online and set their own personal limits.

The debate goes on……………

Canadian Online Gambling losing out to foreign territories?

Tuesday, May 4th, 2010

Paul Burns the Vice president of the Canadian Gaming association has recently claimed that Canadian online gamblers are spending up to $1billion. His concern is that Canada is not benefiting from this as the profits are simply going to the offshore gaming operators. Mr Burns wants a change in the law to legalise online casino play.

If this was to happen there would be tighter controls in place, to ensure that players gambling habits could be monitored and would also stop the risk of under age gambling.

If there was a U turn, in terms of the legal status of gambling in Canada this may see a steady incline in the number of online casino players and the UK based games are becoming increasingly popular online, in particular the Rainbow Riches title is picking up online players at a steady pace. Who knows if Canada will make some strides towards a legal truce for online gambling?
