The aim of blackjack is to get a score as near to 21 as possible without going over, whilst still getting a higher score than the dealer. If you do go over 21 you will lose that hand. Before you are dealt any cards, you must place a bet. On Sky Vegas’ Low Stakes Blackjack you can bet from just 2p upwards. Once the bet is made you will be dealt two cards. The dealer is then dealt two cards, one face down and one face up. You then get the opportunity to 'hit' get another card or ‘stand’ stick with the two cards you were originally drawn.

If you win where your card total is closer to 21 than the dealer or if the dealer goes bust then the house pays 2 to 1. If you win with a ‘Blackjack’ where your cards total 21 exactly the house pays 3 to 2.
