Irish Eyes look on the Masters

Let’s hope that Rory McIlroy isn’t going to turn Augusta into a bogey course. This year the young Irish golfer looked good at -4 on the second day, only a stroke behind leaders Freddy Couples and Dufner. However, on the third day, when the young golfer went out on his round with similarly fated Sergio Garcia, who was also looking good for his first major title at -4, the pair managed to feed into each others nerves and both capitulated dropping a large number of strokes in the front nine.

So what’s happened to Rory McIlroy’s leprechaun helper, the one that we talked about in such length after last year’s masters? Well, we believe that as the Rainbow Riches slot machines, Pots of Gold and Win Big Shindig are in even greater demand than they were twelve months ago, all the leprechauns in the world have been summoned to work the reels of these awesome casino classics, leaving none free (not even the slightly crazy one who’s always going on about Lucky Charms) to help Rory round Amen Corner and the rest of the holes on the epic Augusta course.

We don’t know if they’ve got a Rainbow Riches slot Pots of Gold cabinet in the Augusta Club House, but we suspect they don’t, as if they did then Rory would have been able to grab the leprechaun out of the gaming machine to use round the course. Perhaps next year our young Irish friend will be able to download a Rainbow Riches slot machine straight to his smart-phone and will then be able to use the very diminutive leprechaun that’s trapped in his Samsung to finally help him win that coveted Green jacket.
